Prepa d'un sr20de

Messagepar toto491 » Ven 31 Déc 2010 12:20

Je vous met un lien sur un post trés complet de nos amis amerlocs sur sr20-forum.com
http://www.sr20-forum.com/all-motor/24290-sr20de-dyno-power-write-up.html

Ok guys here is a thread that will anwser most of if not all of your questions on popular bolt-ons for the SR20DE motor. Please try not to cloud this thread up with you should of done this or that. i did all of these on purpose with this specific inteniton of sharing my findings. if you have questions please dont hesitate to ask pm me and ill post it in the thead
Mac

First off this is a 1991 Sentra SER with roughly 169XXX miles. AC is still in and will be removed at a later date.

Modifacations in the thread include:
Aem Cold air intake
Ebay 2.5" header
Obx test pipe
Jim Wolf Technology S3 cams
JWT ecu tune
HKS Sport Exhaust
9lbs. Flywheel

Base line power
Image
the 119 and 120hp pulls where in 4th
the 102 was in 4th with the ac on. i aways wondered what the Hp drop was with the ac on. now i know.

INTAKE
Here is the dyno with the AEM Cai installed. i used the my 119whp run as an overlay cause it doesnt have the dip the 120whp does and is more realisticly the accurate pull.

Most of you will laugh at the fact that i made almost 4whp over stock. but as you can see there is more to the gains then peak HP. and im sure that a few of you know that power band is more important then peak hp.

You can see in the graph that from 3300rpm to 5000rpms i am making more HP then on the stock pull. but from 5k rpms to 5.7k rpms i am making the same as stock. from 5.7k rpms to redline i am making much more then i was stock. in some parts around10-12whp more. also my peak hp is moved to almost 6.5krpms. about 300rpm later then stock. torque is almost not changed at all. this is a good thing and a bad thing but does not effect the feel of the car at all.
Image

the over all feel of the car now is very smooth in the top end and feels much better. i can feel the car pull more but i am very aware that there is some mental aspect to that.

Exhaust

Here is the dyno with the hks exhaust and i must say i am very impressed with the findings. much better then i expected. in this its my base, Intake Installed, and intake and exhaust installed you can see the top end gained a very good amount of power as much as 20whp over stock. cant wait to get headers and see the gains. the exhaust is to quiet so im going to be installing a test pipe. well see if any gains are produced

Image

JWT S3 CAMS, JWT ECU, AND TEST PIPE
Installed the JWT S3 cams and test pipe. i was very inpressed with the gains. the torque is unbeliveable. the intake exhaust run is the last dyno i had.Now the cam run is very impressive with the amount of torque it is making. you can also see that the line is much smoother then the blue run. this is due to a new cap , rotor and wires. the parts are not new but they are nissan where my car had cheap aftermarket set on them, so they are new to the car. the s3 cams with JWT ECU run is not bad at all raising the HP and TQ all through the power band. well some would take that flash as a waste of money but the car did make more power and idles much smoother now then it did with out it. the drivablity is also better with it.

Image

HEADER
heres the dyno with a ebay header and a 2.5" outlet. The Blue Run is the header installed and the Red Run is the last run i did see above for more info on that run. the headers were a great complement to the whole setup i have going right now. you can see that every part of the rpm range has a gain, not one spot does not. the peak is only 7whp which is more then i was expecting. this doesnt exactly mean if you put just a header on it will provide this kind of HP i think with the cams intake ect they are a good compliment for it all.

Image

FLYWHEEL

dyno with the flywheel only made 2whp and 2wtq at peak but like all the other mods its is through out the power band. the engine revs much smoother and faster. rev match is like breathing its super easy.

Image

i installed my factory cat and looks like i lost alot of power through out. sucks but now i dont have any buzz in the exhaust anymore.

une petite liste de pièces avec tarifs chez JWT

Here is a list of what we can do for the 1991+ Nissan Sentra SE-R/200SX/NX2000/G20/Primera/Sunny/Pulsar using the SR20DE engine.

Note: Go to our web site and enter the part # in our products section to get more information.

ECU upgrade $595.00 on an exchange basis. We remove the top speed limiter, raise the rev limiter to 7,700 rpm and put in the most aggressive fuel map and timing curve for 91+ premium fuel. We also optimize the throttle response code for better throttle response. Call for current turnaround time. (1990-97 at this time only) We do have turbo programming along with different injector/MAF combinations available. We can reprogram your ECU for use with the SR20DE-T Bluebird and Pulsar engines. Call us for details on this. We do offer an ECU core exchange option. The additional refundable core deposit is $500.00 for the 1991-94 models and $700.00 for the 1995-97 models. Call us for more details. ECU upgrades for the 98+ models are still in development. Check back with us later to see how our development is progressing. It is possible to use a 1995-97 style ECU into the 98-2001 models. Contact us for info.

PSER1-1221X Pop-Charger air intake system $159.00 (1991-99)
PBREA-THER0 AIV Breather filter (for 1991-93 models,) $13.00

PSER0-1XC61 Pop-Charger air intake system $159.00 (2000-2002)

ECU and Pop-Charger net about a 15 HP gain together

JWT NOS system (1991-97 only) is a microprocessor controlled system (50 or 100 HP gain,) that works with the JWT ECU (you must have a JWT ECU upgrade to use this.) The NOS Control Module actually switches the programs in the ECU between the regular upgrade and the NOS program. NOS is only sprayed during the following conditions: Above ~ 2200 RPM and shuts off ~ 200-300 RPM below the rev limiter, works only on full throttle depression, and with the arming switch on and bottle open. The air/fuel ratio stays at the best optimum settings under all conditions making this system the safest and most advanced NOS system available.

NSER1-NX136 NOS Control module 91-94 SER 50HP $450.00 (this unit gets installed inside a JWT upgraded ECU)
NSER5-NX136 NOS Control module 95-97 SER 50HP $450.00 (this unit gets installed inside a JWT upgraded ECU)
NSER1-NX152 NOS Control module 91-94 SER 100HP $450.00 (this unit gets installed inside a JWT upgraded ECU, must use with 370cc injectors)
NSER5-NX152 NOS Control module 95-97 SER 100HP $450.00 (this unit gets installed inside a JWT upgraded ECU, must use with 370cc injectors)

N4N20-HWARE NOS Hardware kit (call for parts list as we no longer sell this hardware) (NOS bottle, bracket, braided hose, NOS spray nozzle, solenoid, relay, wiring and additional plumbing and instructions.) 370cc injectors (1995 300ZX-TT,) are required to be installed to use the 100 shot system. These injectors are available from JWT for $137.55 each or can be purchased from a Nissan dealer.

LSER1-NP000 JWT SR20DE FWD H/P pressure plate $225.00
